Our Doctor:

Nicole Sczypiorski
DVM, CVA, CVFT, CVTP, CVCH, CTCVMP, MS

Dr. Nicole grew up in Northeast Philadelphia and graduated from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island in 2012. Since then she has undergone extensive training for individual certifications in veterinary acupuncture, food therapy, Tui-na, and herbal medicine. She completed her Masters in Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine at the Chi University in 2020, with a focus on using massage to alleviate arthritis in companion animals.

Dr. Nicole has worked for both corporate and private practices as a full-time associate, and helped out dozens of hospitals throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey as a relief vet. She owns Mobile Pet Karma - a holistic specialty house call practice that hasn't been fully operational since COVID19 - and purchased Buxmont Veterinary Hospital in November of 2022.

For former clients of Buxmont, Dr. Nicole wants to honor the memory of Dr. Arline Rosenfeld while integrating ancient techniques with modern practices for a truly holistic approach to medicine.

Dr. Nicole lives with her four-legged fur baby, Apollo, and too many fish. She is a certified Usui and Tibetan Reiki master and Level III Marconic Energy Practitioner.

Michelle
Receptionist / Client Service Representative

Michelle was initially helping us out at the front desk as-needed but joined full-time in July 2023. Her customer service skills are exceptional, especially her ability to juggle multiple phone lines when things get crazy. Michelle has a Cairn Terrier Pomeranian cross that looks like a mini German Shepherd and does all sorts of crafty things in her spare time.


Becky
Receptionist / Client Service Representative

With a full time job on the human medicine side, Becky helps out on Saturdays and the occasional weeknight when she's able. If you ever call or visit on the weekend, you'll get to experience what an amazing and efficient individual this woman truly is.


Rachel
Technician

Rachel became a technician in 2007 after deciding that working with animals is her true passion. She joined the Buxmont Staff shortly after Dr. Nicole took over, and has a special interest in cat behavior. (She's secretly a crazy cat lady but will tell you it's no secret if you ask her outright.) Rachel shares her home with her husband and a bunch of kitties.
